Jakhu Temple

Dedicated to the God Hanuman, the temple is at an altitude of 2455 meters, it is two kilometers from The Ridge, and it is also approachable by vehicular road from Sanjauli. It offers a panoramic view over the surrounding valleys, out to the snow capped peaks and over Shimla itself. There are many monkeys around the temple.

Kufri

It's a popular ski resort and is at a distance of sixteen kilometers from Shimla. With thick woods around it offers a panoramic view of 2000 miles of the great Himalyan ranges.

Toy Train

Himachal Pradesh has two narrow gauge Rail tracks > Kalka - Shimla and Pathankot-Jogindernagar. On both these lines run the mini trains, popularly called 'Toy Trains' by the tourists. Travelling on these trains is a thrilling experience as the lines, trains and the landscape of charming hills, tunnels and bridges and valleys, which one encounters on the way leaves a lasting impression of ecstasy and joy. Tara Devi

Tara Devi Temple, located in Shimla is a very famous tourist attraction of this place. Situated at a distance of around 11 kilometers from Shimla, this famous temple can be visited while traveling on the Kalka - Shimla National Highway.

Naldehra

It is at a distance of 23 Kms from Shimla. There is a thick cedar forest, attractive picnic spot and sixteen hole golf course. Fagu : There is a very fine view from this spot and has a lot of snow in winters. Its 22 Kms from Shimla.

Chadwick Falls

Chadwick Falls are located just 7 km away from the main center of the city. To reach Chadwick Fall, you have to pass Summer Hill on the way. It is very easy to reach this place by cab, taxi or bus.The falls are sixty-seven meters high and are at their best during the monsoons. They are seven kilometers from Shimla and are approachable through Summer Hill.
